Manager cancelled my reservation the day of my stay. In March I left them a not so good review. They emailed me back thanking me and that they would use my information to improve. I gave them another try, booking a room a few days ago and the day of my stay they cancelled my reservation because of my previous review. BTW they solicited my review. I didn't swear at anyone, nor did I do any damage to their property or break any rules or annoy any other customers. My credit card charge went through so they received their money. They have a right to do business or not do business with people as they choose, but they can't stop people from telling people about it.

Great room for the $$ What a bargain! With skyrocketing $$ on Long Island this is a hidden gem. Older style hotel/motel, room was very large, clean and fresh linens. Front desk staff courteous and helpful. Regrettably, no breakfast, but plenty of places close by. Would totally recommend Rodeway Inn MacArthur Airport.

No Frills but Met All my Basic Needs While I've stayed at Choice Hotels before, this was my first time at a Rodeway Inn. I picked it based on the location and their price. I had been staying at a Comfort Inn about 15 minutes away and the price was at least double what I paid for a 1 night stay on a Saturday night. The site had plenty of signs of wear, but was definitely clean. The personnel were friendly and efficient from start to finish, although the 24 hour desk personnel speak to you from what looks like a bullet proof glassed in area. This is not a comforting first look since most rooms are on the first floor (my room was on the first floor) with just the bolt between you and the outside world. That being noted, this no frills stay met all my needs. The heat and water pressure were great. The one light blanket may seem inadequate, but truly it was fine. I was well rested and refreshed before heading out the next morning. That's really all I was looking for. BTW, the neighborhood seemed just fine. The people around me were relatively quiet. I don't know why the office staff is so utterly sealed away. B-)

Rodeway Inn - Terrible looks are deceiving King size bed smoking room, bedspread had cigarette hole burns. Toilet does no flush, not enough soap and toilette, no coffee maker in room. No Contenial breakfast, no gym. False advertisement, need to..

Great hotel for what we needed Stayed here because it was close to a wedding we were attending. Room was smaller than average big chain hotels but not really an issue for us. Had a king size bed in a non-smoking room that was actually soft and not hard as most hotel beds normally are. Room was clean and on 1st floor which was nice. Room also came with a microwave and refrigerator which was great for the leftovers we had. No iron or coffee maker but again, wasn't an issue for us but if you needed one, the room didn't have it. The breakfast area was closed to COVID which we had expected. Felt like we were in a safe area. Check in/out staff people were friendly & helpful.
