A good home away from home!!! Very accommodating and within walking distance to SAP Center, 15 mins and about 30 mins to SJSU and San Pedro Square. Very quaint and fun place to stay, comfortable and the free parking is a selling point, as its hard to find street parking anywhere in the bay area!! I highly recommend

Great Value! This hotel offers bang for the buck. We stayed there to be close to SAP arena as its only a 15 minute walk away and they offer free parking. Plus they are within driving distance of other sites you may want to see. Carmel is an hour away, San Francisco is an hour away in the opposite direction. The hotel is clean and in a decent neighborhood. If I had go back to San Jose - I'd stay there again.

Basic motel This is your standard budget motel. It was pretty clean (except for a food package left under the bed and a dirty paper towel left in the microwave). It has very good light-blocking blinds, and free parking. The TV remote control is completely confusing.

Clean and comfortable We spent one night at the Flamingo Motel. We arrived, parked our car and headed to the front desk. We were checked in quickly, and the receptionist explained how the shower worked, as it could be confusing. Pay attention! I didn't, but thankfully my husband did so he was able to show me. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a cold day, but the heating worked efficiently and kept us warm. Our room was on the first floor, and there is no lift. It was fine for us, but you should let them know if you need a ground floor room. The location is a little way from downtown, but it was only a few stops on the bus. There are a number of restaurants and a Whole Foods withing walking distance. I would consider staying at this motel again if I was in the area.

Acceptable night stay I stayed just one night on a road trip. The room had a horrific brown and pink colour scheme, but otherwise was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking, and an ice machine on site. The neighbourhood seemed fairly safe during the day. If I was back in San Jose, I would stay again
