Flipping through the Fat Rabbit Tattoo portfolio, a range of tattooing styles bursts from the page—among them: both realistic and pin-up portraits, futuristic biomech schematics and old-school designs, Chinese characters, and tribal designs from Borneo and Marquesas. When translating each work of art to customers' living canvases, the team adds custom touches to previous designs or helps clients flesh out original tattoos on paper from even the vaguest inkling of an idea. Fat Rabbit also conducts piercings—always following safe procedures—such as studs and loops. Within the shop's gallery, guests can peruse the display for tattoo ideas or simply cart home an original signed, matted, and framed work to hang on their back instead.
At The Skin Bar at Bloom Studios, aesthetician Kaylynn shows her devotion to skincare by using only the gentlest, most effective professional products. Her sextet of facials draw from custom-blended Only Yourx Skin Care serums, which combat wrinkles or dryness with a high concentration of plant extracts and natural minerals. Similarly, her Cetaphil waxing services free follicles from the face, body, and bikini zone with hypoallergenic ingredients.
Because The Skin Bar is located inside Bloom Studios, patrons can benefit from the studio’s many comforts. A café fills hands with cups of coffee that may be taken to the idyllic courtyard, where patrons read or summon relaxing bird songs with free WiFi.
Aesthetics are the main concern at SKINovative, where advanced laser skin care treatments and weight loss management programs live under the same roof. Under the supervision of medical director Dr. William F. Fulton, Jr., the clinic’s advanced procedures help patients get the results they desire, whether they choose microdermabrasion to improve skin, B12 injections for medical-supervised weight loss, or sclerotherapy to treat varicose veins. In addition to Dr. Fulton—who has offered his medical advice on many local and national TV programs—the team also comprises certified laser technicians and a licensed aesthetician.

The interior of a business can affect how its customers feel. What kind of decor do you use to help make your clients feel pampered and at ease?
Our decor is modern with a touch of a vintage flair. I use professional equipment and products, aromatherapy and soothing music to make my clients feel more relaxed and comfortable.
What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?
The first thing I do is get to know my clients and find out what look they wish to achieve. I walk them through the service I'm about to preform so they know exactly what to expect. Then I put on their favorite music and allow then to sit back, relax, and enjoy.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
One last thing I want to add is my main goal is to strive for perfection. I am constantly expanding my knowledge on the latest trends and techniques and take extended and advanced learning courses to make sure I'm providing professional quality service to my customers. I want them to know that this isn't just my job. It's my passion, and I believe that shows through my work.
Out of your entire repertoire, which is your favorite service to perform and why?
My first love has always been bridal makeup artistry. To be apart of such a special day is truly an honor. There's nothing more gratifying then helping clients look and feel beautiful on such an important day. Even so, eyelash artistry is my newfound love. It still gives me that gratifying feeling of knowing I gave someone's confidence boost as they leave satisfied with the result.

She is passionate about bodywork for its myriad benefits, which range from reduced pain and stress to a deeper sense of empathy for taffy. Licensed Massage Therapist Taryn also assuages muscle aches, channeling her education from the Arizona School of Massage Therapy directly onto her clients. A specialist in cranial sacral therapy, structural integration, deep-tissue work, and hot stone massage, Taryn enlightens Massage Chic with another perspective in pain-relief and relaxation.
