The minds behind COYO Coffee & Yogurt Lounge combined two opposite, yet complementary, cravings: hot drinks and cold snacks. Using locally roasted beans from Dazbog Coffee, baristas craft traditional, fat-free, and non-dairy lattes, as well as the Red Eye, a cup of joe amped up with three espresso shots and the threat of a big term paper. COYO also stocks a rotating selection of hot teas, which, like drip coffee, can be cooled down into iced versions.
Equally cool are COYO's 12-plus frozen yogurts, often made with local ingredients and free of dairy, gluten, and fat. The rotating flavors range from pink lemonade sorbet to chocolate obsession. Hand-swirled by each patron, yogurt treats can be eaten unadorned or smothered with a choice of 70 toppings, including candies and fresh fruits.
