Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins, Martin City

Could use some sort of back rest for bed headboard in order to make tv viewing more comfortable.

Room was overly crowded. Room was a motel room. No continental bkfst. Kitchenette was a coffee pot and microwave. Asked for plastic spoons and an extra papercup...was told no. Waited 2hrs for cleaning lady to bring 2 cups for coffee. Glad a got a groupon deal. Hopefully better over summer.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and staff was friendly and informative. There were a couple issues: the sign in the room said breakfast began at 7:30, but the sign on the lodge door said 9am. We didnt see any food for the continental breakfast; perhaps that was only during the summer months. We stayed 2 nights, used the coffeepot the first morning, but it was not cleaned, nor was the coffee replenished for the 2nd morning. The heat was hard to regulate; the thermostat didnt turn off the heat when it got too warm.

This is definitely a great place to stay. They were doing some remodeling and I can't wait to see it when they are done.
