What services does your business offer and what makes your business? Springhouse Studio offers painting courses from beginner to advanced. Small studio. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Helping each student realize their own style,while teaching the basics of technique and composition.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Many art classes demonstrate “This is how you paint.” At Springhouse Studio you are not taught how to paint by formula, you are taught ways to achieve a certain result. I teach painting, but most importantly. I teach you how to see. That’s when the fun happens!
What do you love most about your job? Interacting in a small studio and watching each person grow as an artist, is the absolute best part of running a studio. Guiding people who are hesitant, watching them begin to trust their own judgement is a what I am here for. What joy to see a student finish their painting and say in happy amazement, “I painted that?”
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer? The best reaction I receive from students is that by learning to paint, they now see the world a different way. Once you begin to paint, your observation of the world becomes heightened. They come into class excited to put that feeling on paper and canvas.
