Good instructors, venue is OK, class environment is not so great. The lessons are very fast-paced so I was able to only become acquainted with the dance moves (Charleston, Lindy Hop, Balboa). The venue (Avalon) is OK. Wood dance floor, large open area. The A/C is set at 85 deg F, so it's a bit like a Bikram yoga studio. There are approximately 50 students per session. The group would split up into 3 sections, each in a different corner of the ballroom. Lots of noise, unable to hear instructors very well. Bottom line: this is a good way to become acquainted with swing dance, but don't expect to learn much given the environment and class structure.
