Laura Becraft leads an athletic life, which means she understands how difficult it can be to come back from an injury. After a running injury sidelined her in 2003, she began incorporating Pilates into her rehab efforts. Soon, she was a true believer. Now, as the owner of Pilates of Boynton Beach, she leads a squad of certified instructors and oversees a full schedule of group workout classes. The curriculum shapes lean bodies with a variety of stretching and dance techniques. Mat and equipment Pilates work alongside Xtend Barre lessons to stretch muscles while improving posture, and Zumba classes incorporate festive music to fuel cardio choreography. Spin classes give participants a high-energy experience that allows them to adjust resistance to customize their workout. All sessions, whether group or private, are meant to accommodate students of any skill level so long as they bring a permission slip signed by each vertebra.
