Diane, the photographer who worked with us, had very little imagination. When I showed her inspiration photos that I wanted to replicate for our engagement photos, she was more concerned with the exact positioning of our hands than she was the actual look of the pictures. And pictures of with certain angles of just the two of us, she argued would require 20+ people and a ladder. She was very standoffish, and the end result pictures showed it. We had the exact same facial expressions in every photo because, despite me and my husband's goofy nature, she insisted that we "smile" in all of them. It looks so cookie cutter. On top of all of that, she left our 2-hour session half an hour early because she double booked herself, despite our session having been scheduled first. We never got compensation for that last half hour. The end photos were OK at best, with several of what would have been the best ones had children or garbage in the background. She does not have a keen eye for this job.
