Jackie Yates Salon, Dacula

Hair highlights were good but they charged me another $20 for toner, and I was not asked if I wanted it. Haircut was bad. Back of hair looks like it was not cut and front uneven. Only took about 5 minutes for cut.

Everyone was polite, but the cut and color was sub par. I left before the girl could even blow dry my hair I was so upset that I still had gray roots and my hair was hacked up. I was told for another $55 I could get my roots covered. I paid one upcharge thinking that was the process that would cover the roots. If I had paid "full price" for the very bad cut and color by a sweet but inexperienced young woman, I would have paid almost $200 and still not had the gray covered, or had to wait out overly dry hair (oh, I could have paid an upcharge to prevent that I guess). One side of my hair looks like someone took kitchen shears and cut a straight line. I emailed the owner three times (it's not Jackie) and she never responded. If the cut and color had even been reasonably decent I would have felt I got what I paid for, because I knew I wasn't going to the more experienced stylist with a Groupon, but I certainly did not expect this experience. Sadly, I won't go back.

I wouldn't return to this salon. The stylist didn't speak to me the entire time so I sat in awkward silence. She placed me under a steam dryer a walked away for several minutes and it was way too hot and burning me. Finally she came back and I had to tell her it was burning me. I had a burn mark on my forehead for 3 days. $50 in extra services were recommended and I really can't tell a difference

Wonderful salon. Everyone is very friendly and I am very happy with my keratin treatment. I'm really glad I bought this Groupon.
