About Thai Rice

As the name suggests, Thai Rice takes every set of taste buds to the faraway lands of Thailand. Each day the restaurant's chefs spin oriental dishes profusely seasoned with spices such as ginger, turmeric, and chili. Their shrimp Pad thai, for instance, is prepared from rice noodles stir-fried with eggs and flavored with tamarind pulp, fish sauce, as well as red chili pepper, and served alongside bean sprouts and lime wedges. Pad kee mao—also known as drunken noodles—is also served with noodles and shrimp, but is recognized for its distinctive spiciness delivered by chili, fresh black pepper pods, and holy basil.

Great food! Thai iced tea was way too sweet though, but the pineapple fried rice and pad Thai that we ordered was excellent.

New ownership. They refused to take the Groupon at first. Then there was a huge language barrier. They didn’t know how to make dishes which were on the menu. Brought us the wrong thing. Place was dinghy, dessert and dull. Not going back. Wish I can get my money back :(

My granddaughter and I enjoyed our meal of Potstickers, Chicken Pad Thai and Thai Fried Rice. The service was very good and the server was friendly.
