A fleet of 12 planes lives at Pilgrim Aviation, but these Cessnas and Pipers don't spend much time on the ground. Every day, students get behind the controls and soar through the clouds during learn-to-fly and training sessions. Lessons start with ground school training before progressing to hands-on flying. Students who want to practice more advanced maneuvers can tackle those from the safety of the Redbird LD Flight Simulator, which offers the thrills of flying while sitting in an open-air simulator.
