This is definitely a dining in experience - attentive staff, excellent food with lovely presentation. The mix of Japanese and French cuisine is delectable!!

We came for the 7-course chef's menu. We relied on the chef to wow us. To be fair, we asked for no red meat, no mussels and no oysters (my wife's restrictions). The two sashimi courses were great. Two other appetizer courses (clams ceviche and a cold poached egg with salmon roe) were good. The next course, a slab of chicken liver pate with a thin slice of toast was unimpressive and a lazy choice for the chef to prepare. Neither of liked the pate. The main course (Skate Wing “Grenobloise”) was bland and dry. The Skate was bland; the tiny anchovy and dab of lemon pulp did little to overcome this. The fingerling potatoes were very, very dry (tiny potatoes cut into even smaller small pieces before roasting resulted in extreme dryness) and the snow peas/snap peas were overcooked. The dessert (course 7) was ok, but the entrée was such a bust that the entire meal, which would have been $99 without the Groupon, was a major disappointment and a waste of our time. This is a restaurant we will not revisit.

They have some wonderful interesting food here, but this tasting wasn't worth the money. The people around us were getting beautiful food that I would've loved. It felt like they were skimping on the dishes just because we had a Groupon. I don't mind paying for fine food; I expected better choices and more sashimi. I was really looking forward to this and both my husband and I were disappointed.
