There's a crisis in Council Bluffs. A paranormal presence has entered the air, causing chills to creep up spines and horrifying nightmares to enter the heads of dreamers as they sleep. The source of the area-wide sense of dread seems to be Madness Haunted House, where disembodied spirits, dreadful zombies, and sinister ghouls congregate. In order to combat the paranormal, the authorities are calling on all brave souls and fright-seekers to enter the madness within the house and, hopefully—should they survive—discover the source of all this terrifying insanity.

It's so sad to drive by the Mall of the Bluffs with most of the stores having closed down, but this haunted house really makes up for the empty space! We have gone here every year since it first opened because it is my kid's absolute favorite haunted house in the Omaha area. Scary for adults but very kid friendly as well. They interact with the kids more than most haunted house characters do and they always have time for a picture with the kids! The other great thing is that they have changed the layout and characters each year so you never know what to expect. Weeknights they have really short lines to get in and even on the weekends, compared to the other haunted houses, the wait time has been much shorter in our experiences.

Simple planning , has little thrills and chills. Good for family events but for those who are hardcore may want to start here for some simple fun time.
