Maria Snow is fabulous. Talented, easy to work with, committed to customer satisfaction. I had a great time working with her and am delighted with what she designed. She worked with me to have a beautiful product within my budget. I'll be back!

Great place for framing keepsakes. Very expensive be sure to know prices upfront. Excellent customer service.

I've had pictures customed framed before and I forgot how expensive it is!! I only ordered a frame, but then had them put it together and I still had to pay more than the groupon. Yikkes! They do a nice job and it was nice that they allowed me to only buy the frame, as that's all I wanted. Some places want you to replace the mat and glass if you bring something in.

I would NOT recommend custom framing in general--it's craaaaazy expensive! But if you *have* to get it done, Alan at Framestore is the right man for the job.

They are terribly overpriced...

Custom framing is expensive, but I was shocked that even with the groupon, plus a 50% off coupon FrameStore sent me, I ended up spending close to $200 for a very simple job, with a modest frame, with no matting.

From Our Editors

FrameStore's craftsmen have created more than 250,000 custom frames in the store’s 35-year tenure, designing pieces that now adorn the walls of prestigious institutions such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Ritz-Carlton, and the Walt Disney Company. Professional designers guide FrameStore’s clients through the 2,200 moulding options that can accent paintings and treasured items while adding style and elegance to rooms. The store’s craftsmen then fashion pieces to patron specifications, outfitting frames with classic or museum-quality glass that blocks UV rays from bleaching out images or censoring pictures of the moon. Every piece goes through a 16-point inspection before it is given to patrons, and the team averages a seven-day turnaround on all of its projects.
