About this Business

FrameStore's craftsmen have created more than 250,000 custom frames in the store’s 35-year tenure, designing pieces that now adorn the walls of prestigious institutions such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Ritz-Carlton, and the Walt Disney Company. Professional designers guide FrameStore’s clients through the 2,200 moulding options that can accent paintings and treasured items while adding style and elegance to rooms. The store’s craftsmen then fashion pieces to patron specifications, outfitting frames with classic or museum-quality glass that blocks UV rays from bleaching out images or censoring pictures of the moon. Every piece goes through a 16-point inspection before it is given to patrons, and the team averages a seven-day turnaround on all of its projects.

Maria was lovely and her expertise on color and composition. Helped me pick out servers options for the matte and frame. Ended up choosing something very unique that suited the painting.

At the Brentwood location, Monica's creative ideas and resourcefulness are invaluable. We had an unusual request. She dialed into our taste and budget to help us find the perfect frame and matting. Thank you!

Monica runs the place. It seems like her own little spot. She’s terrific and fun. The absence of of fifth star is only due to price. I thought my Groupon would go further with the cost of framing. It’s more than I wanted to spend, but it will make the piece that much more special. Monica was very generous in that she helped me with little repairs on another couple of frames that I brought.

This place is a complete rip off. Don't waste your money on a Groupon, they won't honor it. The store I went to in Westlake Village, CA said that they consider the Groupon stating very clearly "$100 in services" to be "just a 50% off coupon," and "we'll give you another 20% as a courtesy," then jacked up the price of a 12"x18" frame and UNCUT mat to FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS(!!) and generously offered me the discount of $120 on top of the Groupon price! Complete bait and switch fraud. Waste of time and money, AND GROUPON WILL NOT REFUND even tho they know they're lying to customers.

Worst service ever. Never called to tell me that my framing was completed. Then when i went to pick up, they lost one of my pieces. They said that they would call me on Monday (it was a Saturday) and they never called. I called today and they said "yes we cant find it and I sure hope we do". This is the most ridiculous operation imaginable. No customer service and they raised the prices before the groupon so the savings is negligible

I love the Frame Store and the work they have done with a dozen plus of my art work. They are warm, pleasant and very helpful. Can only have a good experience.
