About Free Spirit Farm

A perennial passion for everything equestrian led Jessie Ragsdale to open Free Spirit Farm in 2016. Jessie, who has been training riders and caring for horses for over a decade, welcomes guests of all skill levels to her lesson barn where they gain empathy and respect for the animals as well as confidence in their abilities. In addition to providing horse boarding at their facility, Free Spirit Farm welcomes individuals and groups alike to attend lessons or camps—programs are open to children as young as 4—and the farm is also a sunny destination for birthday parties and field trips.

My girls loved Jessie and the horses. Bonus was they have more animals to see like pigs, ducks, chickens, dogs and cats. We all truly enjoyed it. We are going back for sure.

Wow!! Jessie and her staff were AMAZING! They were patient, knowledgeable and kind. But the MVP Award goes to Leo the horse. He was beautiful and took such good care of my girl! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!!

Great experience for our daughter and our whole family. So many things to see and learn about on the farm! Jessie and the other trainers are great with kids and now our daughter just wants to keep riding.
