King Aquatic Club, Des Moines

King Aquatic Club trains its swimmers to move through the water like fish with lessons for students of all skill levels. During initial lessons, swimmers grow acquainted with the pool, learning how to float and paddle. As they progress through the classes, they acquire new skills, training in specific strokes and adopting proper form. Apparently, the system works: at the highest levels, the club's swimmers have won gold in national competitions, competed on Olympic teams, and grown gills that science is powerless to explain.
