We were extremely disappointed in our experience at the Laughing Lion. Yes, it was the day before our Groupon expired but we have often used our Groupons late and NEVER encountered what we did at the Laughing Lion. We arrived quite early in the evening (at the end of happy hour as the Groupon stated it could not be used at happy hour) to find that 5 out of the 7 entrees listed on the menu were not available as well as a few on the supplemental menu (specials?) and several appetizers! We ended up having to order burgers rather than a traditional entree and found them to be dry and overcooked. Service was extremely slow though our waitress was pleasant. Unfortunately, it left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we will not be returning despite the fact that the appetizer of the Portabello Mushrooms was quite tasty. We ended up feeling like we did not get the deal that we purchased. Truly bad planning on the part of the management.
