We went there for brunch. I had never been there before and didn't even know there was a full restaurant in the back. There were 4 of us and every dish was prepared with care and quality. It was the best brunch I had ever had. Definitely going back.

Too empty on a Tuesday night! We will have to return on a weekend, when I am sure it must be packed. The creamy broccoli soup needed more flavor and less thickener. The chairs in the dining area were all wiggly and need repair-which really takes away from the nice atmosphere of your dining room. Our waitress had to look through several before she was able to find a sturdy one. Some DIY with glue and maybe wood filler would go a long way. But I am glad we tried your place and will recommend it to others, as well as return with my family.

We had a wonderful experience at Danny Boys! Special thanks to Jess the bartender who started our evening with a cold glass of Pinot Grigio and lots of helpful information which led to a successful dining experience. Also a special thanks to Nicole who provided us with great service and a warm smile. Thank you, looking forward to our next wonderful experience at Danny Boys.

I was afraid that, since we had a Groupon, we may be treated differently than full paying customers. Thankfully, I was very wrong. We enjoyed our experience and would definitely go there again and recommend it to friends.

I was very disappointed. The restaurant was very cold. I ordered Romainain steak. It took at least a half hour for the entrees to come. Mine was so charred and black on the outside that I could not even cut it. My baked potato was also hard. They offered to make me another steak but at that point I was too annoyed to wait another half hour. Judy told us that the manager would take it off the bill but that was not an option since the groupon was already paid for. Judy offered to buy me a drink because she felt bad. We never even saw a manager. I feel that I paid for something that I did not get and told Judy this. She said that it was not her decision.

From Our Editors

Danny Boys Pub & Restaurant welcomes a variety of patrons, from diners looking to dig into shepherd's pies to football fans sidling up to stools to watch the game in the company of friends and expertly poured pints. The chefs bake traditional and whole-wheat Irish soda breads onsite daily—serving the sliced results as complimentary sides—simmer soups in homemade stock, and prepare specialty entrees that include fresh calf's liver sautéed with bacon and onions. Behind the bar, Giants flags flutter between flat-screen TVs and stained-glass installations in the ceiling bathe mixologists in a colorful glow, energizing a lineup of taps that houses brews from Stella Artois to Chicago-import Goose Island Honker's Ale. A separate dining room cushions patrons with tufted booths as they scan the walls for vintage-style Guinness posters and a rare glimpse of the ghost of Arthur Guinness.
