JB's Restaurant, Edmonton

probably one of the worst restaurants I've been to. got the fish and chips and just the sight of it looked nasty and was full of oil. Made me want to puke 5 times in a row! I would never come back here again.

Once our order was taken, server Janet (101), not once, ever, returned to the table, except for my asking for tartar sauce which should have come with the fish. In fact I had to flag her down for the bill/take out container. She would stand and talk to everyone, chat with the regulars, but, never, ever come by the table. It was over an hour before we asked for the bill. Then when I asked her where I pay, she did not respond, she simply pointed at the cash register. Food was good, qood portions, appropriate temperature, but, service really put us off. We were never told about specials, soups of the day, etc. We were simply handed menus and asked what we wanted for a beverage.

Will never buy a groupon for this restaurant ever again as it has too many hidden stipulations to be able to be used. Very poorly done groupon as I have used others in the past and this one sucks big time.

Good food, large potions and friendly staff.
