Pro Tip: A consultation is a great way to figure out exactly what you want your photos to be like. We go over everything and the process is simple and organized. Consultations take about 30 minutes to an hour and can be done in person or by phone.

Besides making clients happy, what do you like most about your job?

Our passion for photography is rooted in our childhood memories. Most of our staff and photographers have parents who loved to document their family. Flipping through old photo albums is a lovely feeling. Providing families with those kind of memories is something that we deliver consistently with quality work.

How is your approach different than that of other professionals in your field?

We communicate our expectations and explain how everything will happen, when your photos will be ready, where your session will take place, how your session will be carried out, and we help you to choose great products and make smart printing decisions that will provide you with archival quality work that your family will cherish for generations to come. We understand that everyone has different budgets and we strive to help you get the most you can for the budget you have to work with. We offer these deals so that professional photography can be accessible to everyone.

When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?

Everyone at Valerie Kate Photography has a passion for creative media. Our photographers, website designers, bloggers, and even our marketers, love what they do. I am a mother who knows the importance of photography especially because children change so quickly. Family portraits may only be able to be done maybe once every 5 years or sometimes even longer. We strive to provide consistent and quality work that you and your family will cherish for the rest of your lives.

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn’t cover?

We know how exciting photo sessions are and we know you want to see every photo however we do select the images for your package very carefully and include the very best for you. Your digitals are delivered via email and digital download gallery within 1 to 2 weeks after your session date. If you prefer to select your images you may request an in-person reveal session for an additional $25. In-person reveal sessions are not guaranteed and subject to availability.
