About Fencing Sports Academy

Fencing Sports Academy teaches students to parry, lunge, and riposte in fencing classes that cater to everyone from beginners to Olympic-level competitors. Head coach Ervin Szucs previously worked as head coach for the Hungarian National Team and has trained U.S.A. North American Cup gold medalists and World Team members. In classes split by age and skill level, new students learn basic foot movements and guards while more advanced fencers explore tip control and complicated maneuvers, all while brandishing blunt-tipped swords or unsharpened rubber chickens.

This was my first time fenicing. The instructor was fun and joked around with 6 women but definately was clear about the boundaries.

So fun! Such an awesome experience. My boyfriend and I loved battling it out. Great date night idea. Owner and instructors are very friendly. Totally recommend!

My boyfriend and I had a great time trying out fencing for the first time at Fencing Sports Academy. Our instructor Yasmany was great and very helpful! He even took the time to show us the traditional poses that fencers do in photos and take several photos of us with our phone. We have a lot of great photos to remember our fun experience. We'll definitely be back!

It was a blast!!! Really fun time BUT just realize it is actual physical activity lol. The first 30 mins is warmups and getting your body loose and then you learn the basics and then 20 mins of pure practice. Let me tell you it was amazing but it is a workout!
