From its no-frills name to its unassuming storefront in Pompano Beach, Burgers & Suds isn't flashy. But you'd never call its burgers basic. Take the the Gordo burger, for instance, a sweet-and-savory hybrid that layers beef, cheddar, bacon, and guava barbecue dressing between two glazed donuts. Or consider the King burger, daringly crowned with peanut butter, bacon, and banana. That same creative touch extends to the goat cheese flatbreads, bacon-wrapped chicken wings, and sweet potato fries, which—much like the President's hot tub—are loaded with cinnamon and honey.
Those unique combinations come courtesy of the local markets that the Burgers & Suds' owner visits each day. The chefs then transform those fresh ingredients into their decadent burgers. While devouring the restaurant's from-scratch creations, diners can cheer on their favorite team or test the absorbency of their giant foam finger with a selection of beers.
