Kim at Progressive Aesthetics has groupon listed as getting "permanent microblading". When I arrived at my appointment, the first thing she asks is did I do my research on microblading and told me that it only lasts about 8 weeks.I knew microblading wasn't really permanent but 8 weeks? She recommended the powder brow with microblading and said it lasts much longer for an additional $140, which I decided upon. I told Kim that the most important thing to me is that I wanted the individual hair stroke look not the drawn on pencil look. I even pointed to photos in her place, pointing out the ones showing hair strokes that I liked and specifically pointing to the thin drawn on pencil look telling her that I didn't want that. There was no way she could have misunderstood me because I repeated myself several times. Unfortunately, thin and drawn on tattoos is exactly what I ended up with. They are also uneven and I still have to fill them in everyday. I did not express my unhappiness to her because I honestly question whether the photos showing "hair strokes" was her work and didn't trust her at that point. I wasted almost $400.

Not pleased with my microblading. No hair strokes, brows too thin, tails blurry, shape not good, looks like tattoos. She didn't measure with instrument, just eyeballed it. I was told that going over someone else's work is a problem. I was charged an add'l $144.I mentioned dissatisfaction, she said to come back for a touch up at an add'l charge. I had it redone elsewhere & am happy!

Horrible experience. The Groupon doesn't give you what you think you're getting. She explains that what you think you're getting costs extra. I paid extra for my eyebrows totaling almost $400 with tip and a week and a half later my eyebrows look the same as they did when I walked in. No color at all. I told her I wanted them dark. Now, if I want them done again, it's $150 extra. My loss.
