Macayo's Mexican Kitchen, Goodyear

Great food, Fast service. Enjoyed it.

We have been going to Macayo's for decades over the last two years the service has gotten slower and the quality of the food has gone down. Last visit I thought would be our last but my sons wanted to give it another try. We got there at 4:30 and had to wait for a booth as no one was bussing the tables, lots of empty booths but no clean ones. I finally cleaned one then the girl came over and wiped it down, then 10-minute wait for our chips another 10-minute wait to come take our order and there were hardly any customers there. The food did not come as we ordered it and it was lukewarm, we had to ask for refills and wait for them to finally get around to it and then I got a very hateful look when they saw I left NO TIP. tip is an acronym meaning To Insure Promptness. There was an extreme lack of Promptness so why should I tip? The food was not the waitress fault but NOT bussing the tables, NOT bring our chips, NOT promptly taking our order and NOT refilling our drinks unless we stopped her and asked and NOT doing it promptly is her fault as that is her job.

The food was ok, but the service was poor. Waited forever for everything. Including water. Most of the party I was with had empty glasses most of the time. The food was nothing spectacular and I thought pricey for what you got. We had a party of 8 people and a child and were given 2 baskets of chips and 4 salsa's that was to keep us busy for the 40 minutes we waited for our food. Ordered guacamole for an appetizer and when it came we were out of chips and asked for more and didn't receive them for another 15 minutes. Didn't really give us much to appreciate. And it wasn't even crowded.

Very yummy food! Service was awesome!
