Macayo's Mexican Table, Phoenix

Back in 1946, Woody and Victoria Johnson opened their first restaurant, Woody’s El Nido in Phoenix, Arizona. It was there that they starting serving authentic Mexican cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. Now, over 70 years later, the Johnson family has developed Macayo’s into 11 locations in Arizona and two in Las Vegas. They continue to serve fresh, traditional Mexican food at each of their locations including chile rellenos and tamale dinners.
