Long Island Glass, Holtsville

At Long Island Glass, participants may discover their inner artists and create a unique work of art. Each session starts with an introduction to the glassblowing process while learning about the different tools, torches, and materials students use. From basic techniques to more advanced maneuvers, they practice bending and molding glass over an open flame as they create a multi-step project. The day after the glass has cooled, the art piece is ready to be collected.
