They ruined my move. I had to do everything except furniture myself. They almost didn't show up. Detailed version of what happened: I called and spoke with someone who scheduled my move time and date and location with them to move me. APPARENTLY, they were supposed to send me an email to confirm and I was supposed to pay an additional "travel fee". However, they never sent me that email. On the day of my scheduled move, they didn't show up on time. I called them to find out what was going on and they said she weren't coming because I didn't pay the travel fee that was mentioned in an email to me. I told them that I never got an email requiring an extra travel fee. They said "oops, we'll send it now." I filled it out, paid the amount. They said they'd have someone to move me by 6 p.m. that day (originally had been scheduled for afternoon). Well, almost 6 p.m. they call me back saying they cannot move me that evening and they can come another time. I started freaking out because I had to be out of my apartment by noon the next day and I had court in the morning because I am an attorney. I told them they had to be there by 5 a.m. to make sure I got to court on time. They said they would aim for 6 a.m. They did not show up until 7 a.m. and I ended up having to move all of my belongings myself except the heavy furniture that I couldn't do on my own. Two gentleman showed up. One knew what he was doing. One clearly was in training and spent more time talking and talking and being too tired to work than actually moving stuff. I ended up having to even help them with something. They probably moved a total of 15 items including a table and my bed and a couch. The move was for a location about 3 miles away. Yet, somehow, because they were so slow and incompetent, the move took almost two hours even though they had almost nothing to do. Needless to say, I was late for court that morning. Luckily I Was able to get another attorney to cover my hearing for me. This company is awful. They ruined my moving experience. I will never hire a mover from Groupon again.

I did not use coupon wasted my money, the price quoted for gas and expenses was crazy. Got quotes from other movers for less without groupon. Would not recommend feel like service sold was not what advertised.

They were late, took too long, damaged my furniture and I never received the compensation I was supposed too. They would not respond to my calls and they probably cost double of what they should have.

ksonville Elite Movers prefers online booking for moves When I booked online, they ask for a one hour window for arrival My initial request was not available, so a backup time was set by the company They didn't show up within that one hour window, and I ended up having to call and reschedule for a time that was after my carpet cleaning appointment The day I was rescheduled for, the movers showed up a few minutes after the time frame, which was still an hour and a half later than the time the dispatcher called me with The 2 hour clock started the moment they arrived, which didn't include the time it took them to resituate the moving van, or as it turns out, the 32 minute drive time to the new location The younger of the two was polite and careful, but the older of the two kept treading on my freshly steam-cleaned carpet with his rainy, muddy shoes, despite the fact that blankets were put on the floor to prevent that The move with the drive time went 27 minutes more than the 2 hour Groupon Since this company does not bill by the tenth, quarter, or half hour, I was charged an additional $100 With the cost of the Groupon, I was charged a total of $369, which is just under half of what it cost to move the same load from Colorado to Florida 6 months prior The only furniture I have is one couch, 3 small benches, and 2 full-size beds This move should not have taken more than the minimum My bed frame, which I paid an additional assembly/disassembly fee of $15 for, was not disassembled at all Because of that, it did not fit down my hallway and is currently sitting in my dining room, waiting for me to take care of it myself After going through and picking up the leaves and debris left by the one mover's shoes, II realize I also will have to spot clean parts of the floor again as well The only part of this experience that is a relief is that it's over After this, I highly recommend others to go with another company
