One of the worst experiences ever. The chef was nice, but spoke really fast while walking away from you. There wasn’t enough equipment which always lead us to be behind and confused. The pasta came out dry as did the sauce. There wasn’t enough sauce for everyone and she even stated she’d reimburse us if when went to buy store bought sauce. Needless to say, we went to grab dinner afterwards.

Hi Krystal, Wow, I am sorry to hear your experience was not up to the standards we expect from host partners. Can you please contact our customer support team directly so we can address which class and host you were working with so we can improve future experiences?

The teacher was awesome, we were a little cramped where they put us, that was not the painters fault though just how the place set it at. It was at a distillery so that was neat. Had a great drink!

We did the Lebanese cooking class at Mijana. I had never been there and the Groupon offered an excuse to try a locally owned place. They did not disappoint. The owner had great stories of the food and culture. I was sad as I thought this was a hands-on cooking class. It was more of a watch them make your lunch event. One thing we noticed is that they always started to serve what they made at the same spot on the same table. We were last so they ran out with each dish and we got food made by the kitchen which, according to the people at the other end of the table, was distinctly different. The cooking event was a 3/5 but the experience, as a whole, was 4/5.
