The water was cold. I checked the pump room and the temp was not appropriate. I shivered in the tank for 10 minutes and then gave up because it was so uncomfortable. The staff was no where to be found after checking in. Then after getting out I found out my spouse also was out after 10 mins w the exact same experience in a different room. I attempted to get a refund with no success. There was painted over mildew on the walls and the tank room itself was smelly and cold. I feel very ripped off. Don’t do it: they must have paid or employee created reviews because there’s no way anyway could enjoy that experience. I still want my money back.

We have been doing this for over a decade and we have humbly learned that floating is not for everyone. The temperature of the water is checked via an accurate handheld meter between floats because the mechanism in the "pump room" for employees has long stopped measuring water temperature accurately. The water temperature is set to closely match your body temperature. Often people will expect something more like a warm bathwater and that really is not the goal for sensory reduction. Not sure where you thought you saw "painted over mildew" except that we have a couple of tanks with longstanding damage that we do repair the exposed fiberglass. We are sorry you did not have a good experience.
