Floating KC, Kansas City

We only received 2 of the 20 minute chair massages of the 4 advertised with no mention of future redemption nor did we receive the metaphysical gift listed in the package description. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We started with the sauna, which was located by a cafe and rescue birds, that was a great experience, very clean and easy to use, but felt awkward coming out in robes and walking through the public space back to the float area. Next we had the chair massage which was great. Finally we had separate float rooms. I wasn’t able to relax completely because the water was less than body temperature and the smell wasn’t ’salt water’. I floated before elsewhere and couldn’t tell where my body stopped and water started and fell asleep which was what I was hoping for. It was overall a relaxing experience, but I don’t know if I would try floating here again.

Nice atmosphere

The water was cold. I checked the pump room and the temp was not appropriate. I shivered in the tank for 10 minutes and then gave up because it was so uncomfortable. The staff was no where to be found after checking in. Then after getting out I found out my spouse also was out after 10 mins w the exact same experience in a different room. I attempted to get a refund with no success. There was painted over mildew on the walls and the tank room itself was smelly and cold. I feel very ripped off. Don’t do it: they must have paid or employee created reviews because there’s no way anyway could enjoy that experience. I still want my money back.
