I have never had a bad burger or bad experience at this place! A must try

Absolute worst experience the last two times I've been there from the owner! He told us he would rather not have Groupon customers business because he does not want to give the food away for free. I've never seen a customer in there every time I go in there. (Been there 3 times). Except for the one lady that was in front of us in line today and the owner asked her if she was coming back after saying rude comments and she said probably not. I am a business owner and you have to treat people good to get them to return that's too bad he doesn't understand that. Really weird awful experience to see my pregnant wife upset at the way the guy talked to her for having a Groupon. The quality of the food has went down or he gives you a less quality if you use Groupon. The first breakfast sandwich we had had link sausages and was actually decent but he was really rude. This time I ordered the same sandwich and it had a cheap patty sausage on a hamburger bun the first time was on a nice bagel. I have youth group on several times never had anybody get mad at us for pointing it out this guy was disgusted please everybody get a Groupon and take it to this guy and watch how he reacts!lol

We get groupons to try new places in the valley. If we like the place, we go back. And if we don't, we won't. It's just as simple as that. We went to Cafe Burger and placed our order at the counter. The girl at the counter was nice and I've told her I will be redeeming with a groupon. She said the owner will have to come over to do that. In the meantime, another customer came in and also redeeming with a groupon. The owner finally came out and asked to see our identification. I thought that was odd. He wanted to see if we lived in the neighborhood or from other parts of the valley or from out of state. At this point, he was getting really rude. He told us that he only signed up for groupon is for his local customers. People who will be coming back regularly. He also told us that he lose money with groupon. My question is......why would he sign up for groupon if he loses money? Doesn't a business have to lose money in order to make money. Doesn't he know that once he put his business on groupon, anyone can buy it if we lived in the neighborhood or not? At this point, my husband was ready to leave. I've convinced him to stay and finish our meal. The meal that we have had was actually really good. I would have come back to eat again. But with the experience of the owner, we will never go back even if we live in the neighborhood or not.
