Great trip down a cool river! We didn't receive too much information to begin with, and this was alright with us, though other groups might be a little more confused. Particularly, we were afraid of missing the bus and hitting the right spot. Although we got there in plenty of time, we felt like we were running behind for the last 20 minutes of the trip because it was explained to us that we "Would see flags, and then there would be (a few more) miles to go". Upon not seeing these for a while, we were convinced we would have been left behind. In the future, please explain this procedure very carefully, as it will either make or break a trip. Secondly, the school bus schedule wasn't explained to us at all. It seemed as if they told us we would only have one available trip, at the end of the four allotted hours. Much confusion was spread amongst the landing zone as to when a school bus would arrive. Most of us did not bring a source of electronic communication, fearing its contact with water and the adverse effect that would surly ensue.
