As a mother of three, Stephanie Rubin knows just how important playing is for a child's development. She opened PlayPad to give local kids a clean, safe space to let their imagination run wild. They can reenact scenes from real life in "My Town", a play town with an ice cream shop, animal hospital, and interactive gas pumps, developing their fine and gross motor skills. They can also team up with others to build something, using blocks, or play with trains and other toys, all of which were custom-built. Those who prefer a calmer atmosphere may enjoy the sensory room with bubble tubes, projections, and a sensory swing. As the kids play, parents can relax, making use of the complimentary WiFi–the 360-degree view of all the areas from the main room makes it easy to watch over them.
