About Making Waves Boat Club
Between voyages, Making Waves Boat Club’s fleet of watercrafts bobs cheerfully upon glistening marina waters as staffers scrub their hulls to a shine and fine-tune their motors, performing regular checkups. Each meticulously maintained vessel helps fulfill Making Waves’ mission—to grant aquatic enthusiasts a chance to explore local waterways without the hassles involved in boat ownership such as repairs, bills, and carpooling requests from neighborhood pirates. Each rental gives boaters the freedom to float wherever they choose as they spend a day in the sun, play watersports, and feel breezes that seem to come out just for them.

I do like the online reservation system. Blake at Lake Ray Hubbard was a fantastic host. His communication skill were great. My experience trying to redeem my second voucher was bad. They canceled my original reservation due to mechanical issues and have made no effort to help me get rescheduled or responded to any of my emails.

We are S U P E R disappointed that our Labor Day just got slammed. A heads-up NOT so close to the date of our rental would've been nice, although I can see how that might not have been possible.

Notified me 2 days before my reservation that they were "closing their doors" basically due to they oversold and could not live up to their agreement. However they told other buyers that they were "closing their doors" two weeks before but I guess any plans I or may family made were unimportant to them and wanted to hold on to my $149 as long as possible. Also I think Groupon should have some responsiblity in this also and when they knew this business was not able to live up to their agreement should have let buyers know that their groupon would not be honored as soon as possible.

I planned a bachelorette outting for my sister on one of their boats, and they sent me an email saying they were closed for business 3 days before we were supposed to be on the water! Making last minute plans for a special day is not what I had in mind!
