Today (my 2nd day at Yumcha Yoga), I took a class called "Foundations" followed with another class called "Yin" (both instructed by Masako). I have taken various forms of yoga in the past, but did not really expect to sweat in yoga unless I was in Power (hot) yoga. To my surprise, with the movements in the "Foundations" class, I was working up a sweat. It was great! The "Yin" class which followed was unlike any yoga class I had taken before. The instructor, Masako guided us through elongated stretches and explained the purpose for each movement. I left the studio feeling invigorated!
If you're looking for a genuinely good experience of Yoga, you should definitely give Yumcha a try!
