The New Yorker Hotel, New York

At check-in I was told that they had to hold $100 per day, per policy. The rude clerk argued with me and said that this was in the fine print on Groupon. I asked for the manager and asked her to point it out. She couldn't. I told her it clearly stated $40 per day and that we were there for 3 days. That does not add up to $300. They finally yielded and only held $120. The room was small but clean.

The hotel was nice & clean, breakfast is provided but it’s not free. You have to pay outside the hotel. Definitely enjoy my stay, I had access to the subway and restaurants that I enjoyed.
