I gave the facial to my assistant as a birthday gift. She went this week and had a terrible experience. Her feedback: the "salon" wasn't a salon at all, but rather a room in the back of a residence, which room you had to reach by walking through the kitchen. She thought the room was not clean. Her feedback on the facial was that it was professionally executed, but the rest of the experience was so bad that she could not enjoy it. I was mortified by this. Frankly, I expected that Groupon would have performed some minimal level of due diligence before accepting the salon.
