I consider myself an excellent tipper. One of my biggest pet peaves is when restaurant automatically add gratuity to checks. I understand that some people do not know how to tip, but I am not one of those people. If you automatically add tips, then that is all you will get from me. I normally tip 25 - 35% of the bill, before discounts. This restaurant automatically added tips because of the Groupon.

Very expensive and way too much food. There should be a 1 or 2 meat choice for those who aren't gluttons. The salad bar was good, but not worth $20.

They do automatically charge 18% gratuity. I left a $14 tip and had no choice about it so wether your service was good or bad, they get a very good tip.

We did not have a good experience here. We came in with 2 groupons, expecting to have separate bills and both be able to use one. Prior to finding out that this was not allowed, we felt that the food quality was not even worth the $20 cost of the groupon, let alone the nearly $40 it would be without the discount. The waiter was very friendly, but also slow to bring over drinks/side dishes/bill. Once we found out that both groupons could not be used the manager engaged us in some very rude and emotionally charged conversation rather than just kindly explaining the problem. With higher quality food and friendly staff at all levels, this would be a great place to spend an evening.

If I had a bigger appetite, it may have not been such a waste. For as fatty as the meat was and as lackluster as the salad bar and sides were, it wasn't worth the high price I paid even after my Groupon.

From Our Editors

Eleven varieties of meat, from flank steak and pork ribs to tender leg of lamb, sail off skewers at Bombasha Brazilian Steakhouse, recently dubbed by Urbanspoon as one of America’s most popular high-end restaurants. Speedy tableside service, courtesy of Brazilian gauchos, keeps plates piled high with each succulent slice of meat, which diners can pair with side dishes such as fried bananas and yucca. Fresh greens and smoked salmon from the salad bar prologue feasts, and homemade Brazilian desserts close the evening beside signature caipirinhas conjured from sugar-cane liquor, sugar, and zesty lime.
