After years struggling with PCOS hair growth and constant irritation, I finally decided to get laser and I am SO glad I went with Bared Monkey. The staff is so kind and attentive, and I am always in and out for my bikini line treatment in less than 15 minutes, and it is completely painless for me. I have thick, dark hairs on fair skin (the ideal kind for laser), and after only 2 treatments I literally don't have to shave (they say to avoid shaving anyways); there are still hairs (still have 4 sessions left) but they are SO thin and sparse, it is a night and day comparison to what I had before. I could actually cry at the results. I can't speak for long term results, but I can't imagine it will ever regrow to the previous thick/dark/coarseness. I am also on Spironolactone, a hormone blocker that helps curb PCOS hair growth, which didn't do much before but I think will help a lot with preventing testosterone-related regrowth. I do wish they had more comprehensive and affordable packages for full legs + bikini, but maybe they have deals if you ask them. It is already a really affordable spa and so worth the money.
