Over the years, Dr. Howard Benedikt has had many outlets for sharing the health and wellness knowledge he's accumulated in his decades-long career. Not only has he taught at New York Chiropractic College and Berkeley College in New York, he also hosted a local radio program called "Alternatives" for nearly a decade. But it's at his own practice where he passes on his wisdom most directly. Appointments there begin with diagnostic tests such as a gait scan to evaluate how patients move or thermal imaging to identify abnormalities in the nervous system. Then it's time to create a treatment plan. The plan might consist of cutting-edge treatments such as cold-laser therapy or microcurrent therapy, or it might rely on adjustments and other traditional chiropractic techniques.
