What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
PVK has been family owned and operated for 40 years. Students are taught the value of discipline, perseverance and respect while learning self defense in a fun yet structured atmosphere. The positive effects of training are clear - self confidence is a direct result.

What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Everyone has had a first day and there is only one first day. Remember that everyone is always learning. Even our teachers continue to train.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Sensei Mike Wall moved to Arizona in 1979 to train with the Father of American Karate, Master Trias. Sensei Wall's passion has always been karate. He wanted to share & inspire students just as he had been inspired. After 35 years he still is the primary instructor at the school.

What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that I can help kids learn important life skills. Not just self defense, but self confidence, leadership, speaking, competition & good sportsmanship, fitness and problem solving.
