Minturn Anglers, operating for over eight years, conveniently has the Eagle River running right behind the main fly-fishing shop. Not only is the location ultra-convenient for trying out new rods and reels, but aside from that, nothing can stand between these folks and a catchable fish. This holds especially true for head instructor Erin Hale, whose passion for the sport has taken him all across the world. On those occasions when Erin and his team aren't actually fishing, they lead weekend fly-fishing schools that introduce new students to the sport. Designed for the total beginner or those who want to enhance their existing skills, these classes include lessons on tying different knots, reading the water, and rigging.
