It's hard to say what's more fun to see, the 100-plus-pound beast of a pumpkin at Madrac Farms or the sights on a scenic 10-minute hayride through the area woods. And those are just two of the fun fall activities at the farm.

Families can also explore the twists and turns of the five-acre corn maze, don a potato sack and glide down a slide, and head to the pumpkin patch to pick out their own Orange Bulldog pumpkin, a variety developed at the University of Georgia to flourish in heat and humidity. In the barnyard, farm animals—such as goats, chickens, and one potbelly pig named Hazel—meet and greet guests, who feed them a handful of treats. In addition growing their own variety of pumpkins, the farm imports ones from all over the U.S.

Those who stop by the farm on Snow Day see it transformed into a winter wonderland with real snow that's perfect for making snow angels or building a people-shaped snowman to honor the greatest president in U.S. history, William Henry Harrison.
