The sun beats down on the giant tire, heating up the rubbery grooves; then hands emerge, grip the black edges, and hoist the entire mass upright. The tire stands, wavering a bit, before it is hurled onto its other side. Hoots of approval escape from the small collection of boot-camp onlookers before another intrepid participant faces off with the heavy thing. This is House Of Strength’s boot camp, where athletes push themselves toward better health on a path littered with weighty things such as tires and kettlebells. In addition to strength building, the camp also challenges guests with cardio training including hill sprints, circuits, and speed knitting. To complement the intense physical exercises, participants also receive nutrition tips calibrated to maximize the workouts' benefits.
