Many clients have chosen to use Groupon repeatedly to get super discounted services which can create a lot of stress on a business if it’s abused. . We call it the cost of acquisition and hope to win clients to be regular price repeat client ( to support our overhead and staffing expenses) . Groupon takes half, the house takes half of that half and the staff ends up making a scant amount. So that $124 service, the esti makes $10. By the way, Thank you for your generous $3 tip.
