I haven't been to this salon before so I was absolutely flabbergasted when the owner of the salon got into a physical fight with a former employee/client & police had to be called & everything!! Fighting at your place of business is not cool.
My services with Kelley were fabulous. I enjoyed everything thoroughly, and look forward to seeing the spa after the renovations are finished..
This is the worst place on earth. Lazy unprofessional staff and awful management who does not seen to care that her staff leave customers waiting nearly an hour. I can't speak for the actual services. I left after I was kept waiting so long.
It was the dirtiest place I could ever imagine, the massage table had hair on it, food on the floor of the waiting room. The staff did not seem trained nor professional. I did not tip and would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone! Also, poor parking in a very bad neighborhood.
This place has tons of potential, but it fell a little short for me. If I could rate the person who gave me my service separate from the salon, I would give her 5 stars, she was great! I went in for a groupon special body scrub. She gave me a great explanation of what the service was and I really happy with the actual service. The ambiance of the salon, which i find very important at a salon, was a little lacking. When I first got there they brought me through the back of the salon to a room on the other side to sit and relax. The back of the salon was a little cluttered and almost looked like they were doing a little construction. The relaxation room had tons of magazines (thumbs up), some misc snacks (half a thumbs up), some wine (another half thumb up), super bright lights (double thumbs down), soft music (thumbs up), and a fake fireplace (thumbs up). So a little explanation on my half thumbs up. If you are going to serve cheap wine, serve it in a carafe with a cute label telling the type of wine. I would never expect expensive wine at a spa, but a little disguise would've went a long way. Almost the same comments about the food. The idea was great and inviting, but the presentation was lacking. My main problem was with the lighting and it's so easily fixed. It was way too bright in the massage room as well as the waiting room. Both rooms should be lit with mostly candles. Also in the massage room there was a loud ticking clock. This might be the most unrelaxing thing ever. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm slamming the place bc there were only a few very fixable issues, but they were kind of big issues for me. All in all, I would say that if I was going to pay full price for something, I would go somewhere else.
Great service!!! I would definitely recommend The Lash Loft Day Spa to my friends/family.
I thought they did a really good job. It is just inconvienent for me to go to since I live in Edwardsville, IL.
