Paul's Detailing, San Francisco

Not a address we used...it is now a parking company. Paul tried to upsell too heavily...I had just wanted a simple detailing.

I used a Groupon at Paul's which promised an "Interior and Exterior Detailing." What I received was a decent exterior washing (maybe waxing, not sure), with a subpar interior cleaning, not even close to interior detailing. Even the vaccuming wasn't that good! In addition, I got very bad customer service from Paul. It was really more bad attitude than customer service. I think Paul is short-changing his Groupon customers. He may be able to do quality work, but the Groupon experience with him was awful.

Way too much confusion when dealing with this business. One my first visit, they tried to also sell me a clay bar treatment for $200 and also do some body work. Very difficult to get this scheduled. The owner, Paul, rants about how much he losses money on the Groupon deal for all the work that he puts into the detail....not true...this ended up being not much more than a glorified car wash.

The groupon states a $179 value for $39 which should be a full detail. The bait-and-switch was that when you call to make an appontment they say there is an error in the groupon and they only provide a basic car wash for the groupon and try to upsell their full detail package for $200 ADDITIONAL and only give $50 credit for the groupon.
