Jack’s Car Wash, San Mateo

I was disappointed in the car wash. First, when I arrived and showed them my Groupon where I paid $14 for a $29 "The Works" car wash. The manager said I would have to pay the balance of the $29 ($15.99) in addition to the $14 I paid to Groupon. So basically, I paid full price with no Groupon deal. Then, to make matters worse, after going through the car wash, the car still had finger prints, tree sap and bird droppings all over it! When I spoke to the manager about it, he said that they couldn't remove it because the finish on my car was too faded. He said he could fix it if I paid him $150 to wax and buff it out. Seriously? They are just human finger prints and bird droppings....even my $7 auto car wash can remove those. Not a satisfied customer.

Jack's Car Wash defines service. I would YELP them a 5. I was hesitant to go again after I took my jeep through the carwash. Its a 1994. Two days later my clearcoat began peeling. Coincidence? Probably not. But I've taken other cars through WITHOUT problems. They even removed some paint damage from my mom hitting the side of a garage with some acitone like chemical and polished over it.I'm really pleased with their work.

Seemed a step above the others. Great car wash. Would love to go again with another Groupon.
